Greater Upstate Law Project (GULP) and Western New York Law Center (WNYLC) compiled a searchable Fair Hearing Database of 1550 administrative decisions. The administrative decisions are available in PDF format and allow advocates to easily locate pertinent decisions. Consequently, advocates can now build arguments on the basis of the precedent established by these decisions thereby improving the quality of their legal work. The database is free and accessible to the public; however, users must register prior to use. Prior to the launching of this database, New York did not make administrative decisions available in a usable format but the state now provides GULP and WNYLC with electronic copies of decisions thereby facilitating the expansion and growth of the database.
