Collaborations

  • AskNow's Law Librarian Service - California's Metropolitan Cooperative Library System and the Council of California County Law Librarians launched AskNow's Law Librarian Service to enable self-represented litigants to submit questions online to law librarians to help visitors locate legal information through AskNow's interactive chat software.
  • Partnering with theBeeHive.org - TheBeeHive.org is a web-based service provided by One Economy Corporation to create and offer self-help information to low-income people on important issues such as health, jobs, school, money, and family. Legal services programs can partner with TheBeeHive.org in order to ensure that low-income users of the theBeeHive.org can access high quality and reliable legal information on the appropriate statewide web site.
  • HUD's Neighborhood Networks - HUD's Neighborhood Networks (NN) initiative establishes multiservice community learning centers that bring computer access and learning to low- and moderate-income residents living in multifamily insured and assisted housing. Learn how your program can partner with NN's community technology centers.
  • Community Voice Mail - Working with social service agencies around the country, CVM distributes free, personalized voice mail numbers, directly linking individuals to jobs, housing, and stability.
  • Partnering with the IRS - The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) welcomes partnerships with legal services organizations to assist low-income individuals and families to file tax returns and claim the earned income tax credit (EITC) and/or other tax benefits for which they are eligible.
