  • www.LEP.gov promotes a positive and cooperative understanding of the importance of language access to federal programs and federally assisted programs. This website supports implementation of Executive Order 13166, Title VI, and the Title VI regulations regarding language access.
  • U.S. Immigration Statistics by State - The state-by-state immigration statistics found on this map were gathered from the 2000 Census, U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S. Census Bureau, and U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
  • I Speak Cards - These I Speak Cards can be used to help an individual obtain interpretive services. Cards are available in Spanish/English, Laotian/English, Russian/English, Cambodian/English, Chinese/English, Farsi/English, Korean/English, Vietnamese/English, and Hmong/English. These cards were created by the State of California's Civil Rights Bureau.
  • Language Flashcard - Langauge flashcards may be used to identify a client's language when it can not be determined. This language flashcard was developed by the Census Bureau.
