Jeanne Charn of Harvard Law School and Randi Youells, LSC's Vice President of Programs wrote "A Question of Quality" to begin a discussion on approaches to ensuring the delivery of high quality legal services. Charn and Youells identify several core and expanded components of a "Quality Matrix" and discuss how these components provide a starting point for a larger discussion in the legal services community on program quality issues. Charn and Youells also discuss pragmatic methods for "breathing life into the matrix" and the different roles that legal services providers and funders play in working towards improving the overall quality of legal services for low-income people.
