MidPenn Legal Services (MPLS) developed a Private Attorney Involvement plan to ensure and encourage pro bono activities around the MidPenn service area. Given MidPenn's limited resources, MPLS has established case service priorities and case acceptance guidelines to aid them in making decisions as to which types of cases can be handled. The PAI plan describes the pro bono activities of each county that MidPenn Legal Services covers and the process by which volunteers go about performing pro bono services. MPLS's PAI plan includes a section on recognition of pro bono efforts and collaborative partners. MPLS's PAI plan also dedicates a section on follow-up and tracking of PAI cases.
