The Community Counsel Program (CCP) is a collaborative partnership between four Florida legal services organizations-Bay Area Legal Services, Legal Aid of Manasota County, Community Law Program, and Gulfcoast Legal Services-that provides legal assistance to eligible community-based non-profit organizations and groups.  CCP provides pro bono transactional legal services to organizations that are working to better the economic and social conditions of low-income residents and communities in distress.  CCP strives to help its clients obtain charitable status and address legal issues that arise in connection with their operations, excluding litigation matters.  CCP matches eligible nonprofits with volunteer attorneys working in areas such as, corporate, real estate, tax, risk management, labor management, land use, contracts, regulatory and intellectual property.

CCP's clients serve:

• Low income neighborhood and homeless individuals
• Healthcare needs
• Victims of domestic violence
• Migrant farm workers
• Disaster relief and preparedness
