In November 2005, Legal Services of North Florida, Inc. and the Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. launched the Revitalize Our Communities Project, this is the first project that focuses on rural community economic development established by civil legal aid providers in north Florida.   The initial partners, Legal Services of North Florida, Inc. and Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. have a long standing commitment to empowering low income communities to tackle the problem of poverty and to enhance their access to justice.  The project currently has a unique rural focus:  to build and expand the capacity of rural non profit organizations to provide their communities with affordable housing, micro enterprises, job training programs, new jobs, child care/after school mentoring programs, and vehicles to preserve land and cultural resources.
