Funded by an LSC TIG grant, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), together with the Minnesota Legal Services Coalition State Support Center, developed an interactive web-based system that allows domestic violence victims to create and print the pleadings necessary to apply for an Order for Protection in Minnesota. The web-based system was created in HotDocs and is hosted on the National Public Automated Documents Online (NPADO) server. Users access the online system from the statewide website, ProJusticeMN.org. Users complete the forms online through a guided question and answer interface which they can then print out for filing with the court. The system is accessible from any computer with internet access and does not require a special client side browser or software to complete or print out the forms.
