Earned Income Credit Campaign Kit

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities - 030015

Abstract Number: 030015

January 2004

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) created the 2004 Earned Income Credit (EIC) Campaign Kit to assist organizations who are interested in conducting and implementing an EIC campaign. Kits contain four booklets entitled: Facts About the Earned Income Credit, Facts About the Child Tax Credit: A Bigger Paycheck Boost for Many Families, Helping Workers Boost Their Paychecks: How to Promote the Earned Income Credit and the New Child Tax Credit and Helping Workers Claim the Tax Credits They've Earned: How to Link Them with Free Tax Filing Assistance. In addition, the kit also contains flyers, posters, and brochures to promote awareness of the credit. Organizations interested in receiving a free EIC Campaign Kit may order one by emailing eickit@cbpp.org. The CBPP gives permission for organizations to reproduce materials contained within the kit. Additional kits may be ordered from the CBPP for a small fee. To learn more about this project and view the materials online, visit: http://www.cbpp.org/eic2004/index.html.
