The Legal Services Corporation Evaluation Guidelines (Guidelines) provide insight on the range of information that LSC considers during the evaluation of competitive grant applications. While the Guidelines provide a helpful framework for both evaluation and program planning, there may be other equally valid approaches used by providers, which result in similar or improved outcomes for clients. The LSC proposal evaluation process allows for consideration of all appropriate approaches.
The topics of the Guidelines follow the format of the RFP (Request for Proposals). To facilitate your review, each page of the Guidelines contains: 1) topic heading, 2) overview statement of an effective way to address the topic, 3) indicators of effective procedures, and 4) references to the applicable source materials:
