Bay Area Legal Aid developed this manual to train BayLegal's law clerks. This manual provides instructive information on the day-to-day operations, guidelines, and restrictions of Bay Area Legal Aid. Specifically, the manual includes information such as client eligibility guidelines, the types of cases BayLegal handles, BayLegal's structure, the manner in which clients are assisted, the expectations for law clerks, and other general information that a law clerk should know.
