The Maryland Legal Assistance Network (MLAN) manages several websites as part of its coordination and support activities in partnership with the Legal Aid Bureau and Maryland's other 28 legal services providers. The outreach efforts center on two separate websites. There are ongoing efforts to publicize the websites and to look for ways to integrate the use of the sites into the daily work of legal services advocates in the state. In order the meet their outreach and marketing goals, MLAN developed, "An Approach to Public Access Website Outreach." This tool kit addresses the following:

• Client Access and "Techno-Literacy"
• Posters
• Outreach Sites in the Community
• Radio and Television Spots
• Search Engine Analysis and Registration
• Links from other Websites
• Public Education on Seeking Legal Information on the Web
