"Pleading for Forgiveness" explores the difficulties faced by recent law school graduates who want to pursue a career in public interest law but are faced with stifling law-school debt. Kleiman and McPherson also examine then-ABA President Robert Hirshon's efforts to expand Loan Repayment Assistance Programs (LRAPs) to assist attorneys interested in public interest law.
