Legal Services for Cape Cod & Islands (LSCCI) offers a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP) to eligible attorneys and paralegals to assist them in repaying certified educational loans that accrued while studying for a law or paralegal degree. Attorneys and paralegals are eligible to receive LRAP assistance upon completion of their probationary employment period Eligible employees may receive whichever is less, either 50% of their monthly loan obligation or the amount indicated in the chart below.

LRAP benefits are pro-rated for part-time employees. This program is offered through the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation which results in the loan assistance being excluded from federal and state income taxes. To learn more, access the full policy below as a PDF document below.
