Legal Action of Wisconsin (LAW) developed a language access plan for serving the limited English proficient (LEP) population.  The Language Access Plan explains LAW policies regarding the LEP population.   The Plan provides a step by step process of identifying a need for language access service, delivery of the language access service and written language service.  The Plan also provides guidance on recruitment of bilingual staff and training staff on LEP policies, how to work with interpreters and how to serve the LEP population with their language needs.   The Plan also elaborates on outreach and community education such as making specific and continuing efforts to reach and serve LEP population in LAW's service area.
