Assisted LSC with the negotiations around the merger of Central Mississippi legal Services and Southwest Mississippi Legal Services. Work involved planning with LSC staff in Washington, DC, two trips to Mississippi for discussions, drafting discussion and merger drafts, and numerous telephone conferences with the several parties and a final set of recommendations to LSC.

If applicable, please write a brief paragraph about your history as a consultant for other organizations involved in the delivery of civil legal assistance, including local, state, and national organizations (NLADA, ABA, MIE):

Served as a consultant to the Administration on Aging (AoA), Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), focusing on the review of proposals for the provisions of National Support under the Older Americans Act, the establishment of telephone hotlines, including the review of program operational details.

Have also provided workshop training at NLADA on the Older Americans Act, service delivery, etc. Also provided program coordination assistance to the ABA and the Spangenberg Group in the evaluation of Title III legal assistance provider programs.
