Indiana Legal Services's "Report and Recommendations for Implementing a Policy for Serving Limited English Proficient Clients" provides a review of the most important characteristics of a successful LEP policy, census information regarding languages spoken in Indiana, and an assessment of the legal needs of Indiana's LEP population.  Additionally, the report examines statistics from ILS's legal files based on the number of foreign language speaking applicants during the two-year period from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005 and compares the results to census data and other information about foreign language speakers in Indiana.
