The Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) formed a task force to develop a model plan for Maryland lawyers and law firms to adopt in order to recover from the effects of a disaster. The task force also surveyed local and specialty bar associations to determine the extent to which those associations may be able to lend assistance to each other and their members in the event of a disaster.
